Welcome

From here, you can peek through the dusty window that shines a little bit of sundown onto my untidy mind... illuminating the masses of undisturbed cobwebs.

BILL is Ruining Another Car

Well, BILL is at it again.  He is working diligently at ruining yet another car that does not belong to him.  Dear hubby was kind enough to run out and snap the pics for me this morning.  On top of that, he put his mom’s car in the ditch AGAIN today.   He didn’t tell her or us, but his buddy told us that he’d done it.

See that half eaten cupcake next to the paper cup? It's been there for almost 2 weeks. Seriously.

Front passenger's side floor board. Shameful, isn't it?

Driver's side rear floor. Lazy is an understatement here.

Passenger's side rear... is only partially clean because someone was sitting back there recently, even though I'm not sure how.... LOL

I guess what makes me the maddest is that him not taking care of his own crap is one thing, but when he ruins  things that belong to someone else…. It makes me want to snatch him up and shake him violently…  until his eyes bleed.

This has been a very stressful day.  I thought for sure dear hubby was going to kill his brother.  And we all know how anger and adrenaline are very contagious.  He was so furious it was making me shake.  There were a lot of things that lead up to it… from not taking the trash down to the dumpster, to not changing the bald tire on the front of the car, to unhooking the internet from the router and running it directly to his computer (when WE have paid that bill for the past 4 months).  Dear Husband finally got into it with his mom about BILL.  When you box her into a corner about BILL’s laziness and not doing anything, she gets very defensive and makes all sorts of ridiculous excuses for him and then throws poison darts back at you or your family, even if it means resorting to lying.  Her husband then got into the squabble (remember the husband that is only one year older than my husband, and younger than two of her other children) .  So it was everyone against BILL… poor, helpless, he-can’t-help-it-because-blah-blah-blah BILL.  Anyway, after all was said and done, her husband packed up his stuff and left… even taking the laptop he’d bought for her.

Anyway, the previous images should give you some idea of how he takes care of his bedroom.  Just wait, I have pictures of that, too.  For all of you with a weak stomach, be sure to bring a puke bucket… you may need it.

Other than BILL’s shameless shenanigans , there’s not been a whole lot going on around here.  Well, except the never ending snow.  It looks like we are going to break the record for the most snowfall in February after all.

  • Here’s a thought. Have hubby let the air out of the bald tire and then fake like “Oh, it must have been so bald and thin that the air leaked out of it.” When was the last time the oil was changed? I can’t help but notice the empty oil bottle. Does he just top it off when it gets low?

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? TOP OF WHAT OIL? CARS TAKE OIL? That partially empty oil container is from MY husband checking it an putting it in!! Seriously, they have absolutely zero concept of car maintenance. To prove this point, dear husband’s mother borrowed his car once to chase down her husband who ran off with his brother’s wife (no, I’m not kidding). Before she left, he told her, “Make sure you check the oil, at least once a day, and add oil when it it starts to show low on the dipstick.” Did she? Absolutely… NOT. She ran it bone-dry and locked up the engine clear down in Georgia. When was the oil last changed? Probably not since they’ve had it. It is using oil… but we don’t know where it’s going (not on the ground and not out the exhaust.)

I do, however, like the idea of the leaking tire thing. I’ll have to run that by him. Heh!
